小学五年级英语：掌握两大核心时态，轻松开口说英语
英语是一门语言，学它不是为了应付考试，而是为了沟通交流。到了五年级，我们要开始系统接触英语的"时态"概念。时态就像是时间的"时态表"，告诉我们动作发生在什么时候。今天，我们就重点攻克小学阶段最重要的两大时态：一般现在时和现在进行时。
一、一般现在时：描述经常发生的事情
一般现在时用来表示习惯性、经常性的动作或现在的状态。比如"I go to school by bike."（我骑自行车上学），说明这是经常做的事情。
一般现在时的构成很简单：主语加动词原形。当主语是第三人称单数（he、she、it 或单个的人名、物名）时，动词要加" e s"或" s"，这就是著名的"第三人称单数"现象。 - I walk to school. （我步行上学。） - He walks to school. （他步行上学。）——"walks"就是动词加了 s。

- She is singing in the classroom. （她正在教室里唱歌。）

动词加 ing 也有规律可循： - 一般直接加 ing：play→playing，read→reading - 以不发音的 e 结尾的，去掉 e 再加 ing：make→making，write→writing - 重读闭音节，双写末尾字母加 ing：run→running，swim→swimming
三、语境对比：何时用哪个时态？
很多同学分不清这两个时态，其实关键看"时间"。

区分口诀：一般现在时讲"习惯"，现在进行时讲"正在"。看到 usually、often、always、every day 用一般现在时；看到 now、look、listen、at this moment 用现在进行时。
